Calculate your cumulative drop odds

Enter a chance manually or open a shared roll preset from an entity page to preserve repeated rolls, zone drops, global drops, and group-size rounding.

Exact-context expected drops are a long-run quantity average. In manual mode, expected successful attempts counts attempts with at least one drop because a combined chance cannot reveal quantity. Neither result is a guarantee or a prediction of the next random result. Presets created by entity pages apply group division to every underlying roll before recombining them. Shared URL inputs can be edited, so use the current item or mob page when you need to verify the source values. Calculation method revision 1.

How cumulative drop chance works

A 1% drop does not become guaranteed after 100 attempts. Each miss leaves a 99% chance of another miss, so the chance of receiving at least one is calculated from the chance that every independent attempt fails.

at least one = 1 − (1 − chance per attempt)attempts

At 1% over 100 attempts, that works out to about 63.4% for at least one drop and 36.6% for no drop. “Expected drops” is a long-run average across many identical farming sessions, not a guarantee for one player.

Use the exact Fantasy Online 2 context

The same mob can use different drop rules in different zones or locations. Repeated item entries are separate rolls, while zone and global drops are added to the spawn's own table. Start from an item page or mob page and use its calculator link so the exact underlying rolls are preloaded. The calculator can then recompute them for one to four eligible looters without dividing an already-combined percentage.

Group loot must be calculated before separate rolls are combined. Do not divide a displayed combined chance by party size. Read the drop rates and group loot guide for the game-specific rule order and rounding details.

What the result can and cannot tell you

The calculator describes independent probabilities. It can quantify how common a dry streak is and help choose a farming target, but it cannot predict the next random roll, detect a hidden pity system, or turn an average into a guaranteed result.

Drop percentages follow the game's rules and rounding behavior, not player-submitted sample estimates. See the methodology page for source boundaries and publication safeguards.
