Fantasy Online 2 Crafting and Materials

Plan materials from the recipe the game actually consumes: repeated ingredient instances, full stacks where required, the start cost, the timer, and every result.

Read the complete recipe, not only the item names

A Fantasy Online 2 recipe can define multiple ingredient occurrences, multiple result occurrences, a coin cost, a completion time, and one or more reachable crafting stations. Recipe pages preserve the game's ordering and link every known item and station.

The Iron Ore Chunk recipe is a useful starting example. From any recipe, follow an ingredient to its item page to compare drops, shops, quest rewards, and other reviewed acquisition routes.

Some ingredients consume a full stack per occurrence

For a stackable non-bag item with a positive stack size, one ingredient occurrence means one complete stack—not one unit. The selected stack must be full, and that entire stack is consumed.

total units = recipe occurrences × the ingredient's full stack size

Non-stackable items consume one item instance per occurrence. Bag items are also treated as instances rather than applying the non-bag full-stack rule. Recipe pages state the resulting unit total so the material list is not misleading.

Repeated entries are separate requirements and results

If an ingredient appears twice, the game uses it twice. That means two separate required instances, or two full stacks when the full-stack rule applies. The database groups repeated names for readability but retains the occurrence count and total units.

Repeated results work the same way in the other direction: each entry creates a separate result item.

Coins are paid at the start and recipe time is in minutes

The recipe's coin cost is removed when crafting starts. The listed completion time is in minutes. Where an early-finish gem cost exists, it decreases with the remaining fraction of that timer.

A reliable material-planning workflow

  1. Open the crafting recipe directory and filter by a result, ingredient, station, or crafting type.
  2. Record each ingredient's occurrence count and displayed unit total.
  3. Open each ingredient page and compare its reviewed drop, shop, quest, and recipe sources.
  4. Follow the station link to its NPC and zone so you know where the recipe can be started.
  5. Budget the listed coin cost before beginning the timer.

The database currently shows direct recipe relationships. When an ingredient is itself craftable, follow its recipe links and repeat the same process for the next level of materials.

Coverage and limitations

Recipes are limited to reviewed, player-reachable content. The site does not invent substitute ingredients, choose an economically “best” route, or present saved reference values as live market prices.

See the methodology page for update timing, exclusions, and how calculated values are labeled.
