How to Find Items, Mobs, and NPCs in Fantasy Online 2
Start with the name you know, then follow the database relationships to answer the next question: how to get an item, where a mob appears, which NPC provides a service, or what else is available in that zone.

Search the name, open the matching item, mob, NPC, quest, recipe, or zone, and follow its linked source or location. The useful answer is usually a short chain such as item → mob → zone, or recipe → ingredient → item source.
Search results are grouped by what they represent
The site-wide search separates items, mobs, NPCs, zones, quests, recipes, skills, and other entity types. That keeps a shared word from mixing unrelated results into one unexplained list.
When you need more control, open a directory such as items, mobs, or NPCs and use its visible filters and sort controls. Directory pages are useful for discovery; detail pages contain the exact relationships.
Find every reviewed way to obtain or use an item
- Open the item page and go to “How to get it.”
- Compare mob drops, shops, quest rewards, recipes, and other listed sources.
- For a drop, open the mob and confirm the zone-specific chance.
- For a shop, open the vendor and zone before planning the trip.
- Use “Used in crafting” to work forward from a material to its recipes.

Open the mob before choosing a farming location
A mob page lists its released zones, combat facts, coins, and the loot rules for each distinct location context. Multiple placements that use the same public loot rule are grouped for readability without averaging their chance.
Follow the zone link to see the location on the map and nearby NPCs, shops, crafting stations, graveyards, and entrances. Browse the mob directory when you know a level range or drop but not the exact name.
Use NPC pages to connect people, services, and zones
Current NPC pages show released locations and available public relationships such as shops, quests, or crafting. Historical NPCs can remain searchable for old names while correctly omitting current interactions that are no longer available.
If the goal is a service rather than a name, start with the shop directory, recipe directory, or quest directory, then follow the linked NPC and zone.
Verify the context that changes the answer
- Use the named zone attached to a mob drop instead of treating it as global.
- Check recipe occurrence counts and full-stack totals before gathering materials.
- Check quest requirements, offer NPCs, objective, and delivery NPC together.
- Treat saved market values as references, not live player listings.
- Use update pages to see when reviewed public data changes.
