Fantasy Online 2 Shops, Currencies, and Recipes

Shop and recipe pages answer different parts of the same planning problem: where an item is offered, which currency it uses, where the vendor stands, what crafting consumes, and whether another source is better.

Trace the full route before collecting or spending

Open the target item, compare its reviewed shops, recipes, drops, and quest rewards, then follow the chosen source to its NPC and zone. Buying is not automatically faster, and crafting is not automatically cheaper.

A shop page connects stock to the current vendor location

The shop directory lists published shops. A shop page shows each stocked item, quantity, currency, price, and current vendor NPCs. Follow the NPC link to confirm the zone instead of relying on an old remembered location.

“Shops pay” on an item page is the fixed NPC vendor value. It is separate from player-market references and Steam Community Market availability.

Read the currency together with the number

Shop prices can use coins, gems, guild points, or another published game currency. A small number in one currency cannot be compared directly with a larger number in another. Faction and guild items can also have progression requirements beyond the displayed purchase amount.

Recipe quantities include repeated occurrences and stack rules

Browse recipes to see ingredients, result quantities, coin cost, and craft time. If an ingredient appears more than once, each occurrence counts. Some recipes consume complete stacks, so review both the occurrence count and the full-stack total before gathering.

The crafting and materials guide explains the reviewed consumption rules in detail.

Use the linked zone to find a crafting service

Recipe and NPC relationships identify the relevant crafting type or service. Open the NPC and zone pages to locate the current service on an interactive map. A similar NPC name in another zone does not prove that it offers the same recipe.

Compare every reviewed source on the item page

  • Shop: fixed stock, currency, price, NPC, and zone.
  • Recipe: ingredients, quantities, cost, time, and station type.
  • Mob drop: exact mob and zone-specific chance where published.
  • Quest or event: requirements and reward context.
  • Market: saved reference only; verify live listings in game.

The finding items, mobs, and NPCs guide covers the fastest way to follow these relationships.
