Fantasy Online 2 Item Sets and Set Bonuses

An item set groups named equipment pieces with one or more count thresholds. The active result depends on the exact equipped pieces and the highest eligible tier—not on wearing an outfit that merely looks similar.

Equip enough listed pieces to reach a set threshold

Every published set page lists its member items and exact bonus tiers. When a build reaches multiple thresholds, only the highest eligible tier contributes. Lower tiers are not stacked again underneath it.

Start with the set page, not a similar item name

Browse item sets, open the exact set, and review every linked piece. Each item page then provides its stats, requirements, appearance where supported, and reviewed acquisition sources.

Cosmetic outfit pieces can reproduce a look without providing the equipment stats or set membership of the combat item.

Set tiers are count thresholds, not separate items

A set can publish more than one required-piece count. Reaching a later count replaces the earlier active tier in the calculated summary. The page shows the exact attributes attached to each threshold so you can decide whether another piece is worth the slot.

Paired slots count the equipped item instances

Rings, trinkets, and other paired positions can use two eligible pieces. The planner counts the actual slot selections, including a repeated eligible definition where the game permits it, rather than collapsing everything to unique item names.

The build planner shows active and upcoming set progress

  1. Open the build planner.
  2. Select the correct progression stage and level.
  3. Equip set pieces in their valid game slots.
  4. Review requirement warnings and the item-set summary.
  5. Check which tier is active and how many pieces the next tier needs.

Resource-gathering tools suppress combat set bonuses in the calculation to match the reviewed game rule.

Compare the final totals, not just one item tooltip

Use item comparison for direct item differences, then use the build planner for combined attributes, requirements, implants, and the highest eligible set tier. A stronger isolated piece can still produce a weaker complete build if it breaks an important threshold.
