Spawn, Rebirth, and Ascension use different level ranges

Read the Rebirth and Ascension guide for a player-focused explanation, progression NPC locations, and the requirements that change between stages.

V4 build codes store the selected progression stage and the same stage-local level players see in the planner:

StageDisplayed levelV4 stored level
Spawn1–601–60
Rebirth1–1001–100
Ascension1–1041–104

Original underscore-format links used cumulative levels and remain a separate historical import path. V4 never uses that cumulative mapping. Values outside current stage ranges can still be preserved by the structural format, but they are not treated as valid current progression.

Calculate the attribute point budget from the displayed level

Agility, Strength, Stamina, and Intellect each begin at 20. The amount allocated is the sum of points above those four base values. Available points depend on stage:

StageAttribute budget
Spawndisplayed level × 2
Rebirthdisplayed level × 2 + floor(displayed level ÷ 4)
Ascensiondisplayed level × 2 + floor(displayed level ÷ 4), plus 20 per level above 100

For example, Rebirth level 20 provides 45 allocatable points: 40 from twice the level and 5 from the quarter-level bonus. Those points are in addition to the four base values of 20.

Ascension level 104 provides the planned maximum budget of 314 points: 208 from twice the level, 26 from the quarter-level bonus, and 80 from the four levels above 100.

Equipment affects combat; outfits affect appearance

The planner blocks equipment that does not match the selected progression stage or displayed level. Agility, Strength, Stamina, and Intellect shortfalls are shown as warnings because already equipped items can contribute toward another item's requirement in the game.

Guild-level and faction-notoriety requirements can appear on item pages, but that progress is not stored in a shared build link. The planner shows a notice instead of claiming those requirements passed.

Browse equipment and item requirements or compare complete item sets and bonus tiers before choosing the sixteen available equipment slots.

The Outfit tab layers cosmetic pieces over the same character preview without changing calculated stats. Fight-line cosmetics are saved in the shared build, but only appear during combat in the game.

Calculated stats include equipment, implants, and set bonuses

The summary mirrors the reviewed server formulas for health, energy, regeneration, damage, attack power, armor, attack speed, critical chance, dodge, range, and movement speed. It separates allocated attributes from equipment and set contributions so the source of each total stays clear.

Six Ascension implant slots add their public combat modifiers. Set progress counts repeated paired pieces and activates only the highest eligible tier. Resource-gathering tools suppress combat set bonuses, just as they do in the game.

Skill matches show eligibility, not ownership

The planner compares the build's local level, progression stage, and final attributes with published item-learnable skill ranks and the two starter skills. It shows the highest qualifying rank of each named skill, preserving distinct variants tied at that rank, with implant-adjusted cast time and maximum-energy context.

A match does not mean the character learned or owns that skill. Aside from the two starter skills, these skills come from their associated learning items. The game's hotbars are shortcut layouts rather than a limit on which learned skills can be used.

Use the build planner as a validation and sharing tool

  1. Open the Fantasy Online 2 build planner.
  2. Select Spawn, Rebirth, or Ascension and enter the displayed level.
  3. Allocate attributes while watching the remaining point budget.
  4. Choose equipment and resolve level blockers or review stat warnings.
  5. Install implants when planning an Ascension character.
  6. Choose cosmetic outfits and check the persistent character preview.
  7. Review calculated stats and active or upcoming set bonuses.
  8. Review matched skill ranks without assuming they are learned.
  9. Copy the share link or code when the build is ready.

A shared v4 URL contains the complete equipment, implant, attribute, progression, and outfit state. Original historical build links remain a separate import path. Shared-state pages stay out of search indexes; the canonical, indexable destination is the main planner.

The planner validates rules; it does not declare a “best build”

Equipment validity and strategic strength are different questions. The planner checks the reviewed constraints it can prove, but it does not infer a universal damage rotation, assign an unsupported tier ranking, or pretend to know guild and faction progress that a build link omits.

Treat build links as planning snapshots. Recheck the item pages and this guide after meaningful game-data or mechanics updates.
